Shipping Method:

-Live animal shipping (Prices depending on location)

-FedEx Priority Overnight $55-$65 ( with our smaller order volume overnight shipping costs a bit more than some)

-Fedex 2 Day shipping $45 (NO LAG) we may not offer LAG at the moment for 2 day shipping options but we have not had any issue for animals arriving deceased. Please specify in order notes if shipping to a home/business or FedEx HAL shipping center.

Processing

  • Please allow 1-3 Business days for processing

Dry goods shipping

Dry good such as enclosures, decor, merchandise, exc. may ship separately from live animal orders even if placed together. Shipping cost calculated at check-out for dry goods.

Shipping Days

-Orders ship on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.

-Orders will be shipped on specific days and not always the same week orders are placed

-Emails will be sent to confirm that you’re excepting shipping and delivery date availability.

Weather/Temperature Advisory
-All of our orders are shipped in Styrofoam insulated boxes with a heat/cold pack when necessary.

-If temperatures are dangerously high/low customers can request to have their order held for pickup at their local FedEx facility.

We rely on customers to be aware of weather in their area before ordering.

We will not have an order held for pickup at a FedEx facility unless specifically requested.

Cancelling Orders

-To cancel an order, please contact us no later than the Saturday 12pm CST before order is due to ship, via email at eightlegsonj@outlook.com

-All non-live animal purchases may be returned at the expense of customer and will be charged a 10% restocking fee.

TO QUALIFY FOR LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE:

  • Only Priority Overnight shipping Qualify
  • Any cases of D.O.A. (dead on arrival) should be reported to eightlegsonj@outlook.com within 2 hours of delivery at HAL not from time picked up from FedEx location. Please include DOA and your order number in the subject line.
  • If High/Low temperatures in local delivery area are above 80 or below 40 degrees, customer must request for order to be held for pickup at local FedEx Facility.(BE AWARE OF YOUR LOCAL WEATHER WHEN PLACING ORDER)
  • If delivering to home, delivery must be accepted on first delivery attempt, not left outside. Any case of D.O.A must be reported to eightlegsonj@outlook.com within 30 minutes of delivery.
  • We may ask for photos of animal’s head/carapace punctured with needle or tack to prove D.O.A.
  • D.O.A. will be reimbursed as a refund or credit towards future orders. (Shipping fees are not included.)
